Theatre 503’s Literary Manager, Co-Artistic Director and Literary Assistant talk to Sophie Reynolds about Rapid Write Response Nights – the theatre’s fast-paced new writing programme. They also discuss the upcoming Rapid Write Rewind, a writing extravaganza which will showcase some of the best of these responses from the past two years. Recorded at Theatre 503, 1 March 2012.
Some writers can write very quickly and the theatre can be immediately reactive in a way that other media can’t be. We aim to get a short play on in two months rather than a year.
