The playwright talks to Aleks Sierz about his latest play, Pornography (Birmingham Rep/Traverse), which was a major hit at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, but had its first production in Germany, directed by Sebastian Nubling.
Surrounding me was a culture that was struggling to sustain itself – and people were transgressing. There was a tear in the fabric.
