The controversial writer’s latest, Mercury Fur (Menier), has been described as the most shocking British play since Sarah Kane’s Blasted, and has been lambasted accordingly. He talks to Rachel Halliburton.

I’m being judged by people who really shouldn’t be judging this play… they are blinder than a bag-full of moles in a cellar.
