The playwright talks to Aleks Sierz about his very well received new play, The Knot of the Heart (Almeida), which he wrote specially for actor Lisa Dillon, and which is directed by the venue’s artistic director Michael Attenborough. Recorded at the Almeida.
The play is neither pro-drugs nor anti-drugs, but it does consider whether addiction is due to heredity or to social circumstances.
