The writer and actor talks to Aleks Sierz about his innovative play, An Oak Tree (Soho), in which he is joined on stage by a different actor every night, and about his first play, My Arm, which also explored the theatricality of theatre.
There is a responsibility that I put in the audience’s lap, and sometimes they are not remotely interested in accepting it.
