The director of the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival talks to Dominic Cavendish about the 2010 programme, which features work by Samuel Beckett, David Mamet and Harold Pinter. The festival runs to 17 October.
I was offered the job in December 2006 at a time when the city was changing so fast it was really difficult for artists and arts organisations to keep pace.
