West End Review: Children of the Sun, Disgraced & more

25th May 2013

West End Review, May 2013, part 2. Mark Shenton hosts a session looking at Gorky’s Children of the Sun (National Theatre), Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Ayad Akhtar’s Disgraced (Bush Theatre). He’s joined by Kate Bassett (Independent on Sunday), Andrzej Lukowski (Time Out) and Matt Wolf (International Herald Tribune). Recorded at NYU, London.

“I think Disgraced should transfer to the National. I think it’s worth people seeing in that it is about national issues – it’s beyond the narrow issue of what that is like in New York. It’s actually about multicultural societies.”
