The artistic director of the Unicorn Theatre talks to Dominic Cavendish about her ambitions for the UK’s first purpose-built theatre for children and young people and gives a quick guide to the coming season. Recorded at the Unicorn Theatre, 8 February 2013.
I think things that feel true to me are likely to feel true to a child, provided they are within the realm of their experience… Plays about power are incredibly strong because any person who has ever been to a playground knows everything there is to know about power.
