INTERVIEW: JUDE CHRISTIAN. The young director talks to Catherine Love about her latest production, James Fritz’s Bruntwood Award winning play Parliament Square – a piece asking questions about the possibilities of political protest in Britain today. In a wide-ranging discussion, they cover her career to date, her approach to theatrical representation and the politics of pantomime. Recorded at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, 3rd November 2017.

I’ve always loved theatre that doesn’t simply show you what the world looks and sounds like, but tries to show you what it feels like or what it is.
