INTERVIEW: DAVID TROUGHTON

The actor chats to Philip Fisher about his starring role, opposite Kevin Spacey, in Trevor Nunn’s production of Jerome Lawrence and Robert E Lee’s courtroom drama, Inherit the Wind (Old Vic), which revisits the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925, and about how acting runs in the blood. Recorded at the Old Vic, London.

My character is a larger-than-life figure who had attempted to become President three times, and this was his last attempt to galvanise the public.
