Urban Scrawl: a brilliant response
Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008Theatre 503 programming director Gene David Kirk, who’s overseeing the delivery of the Urban Scrawl project, has been so inundated with scripts that it’s fallen to me to thank everyone who bothered to put pen to paper in response to the Time Out competition. Gene tells me that some 40 scripts have come in - with several being hand-delivered on the final day. Now begins the task of sifting through the entries, reading them closely and making the difficult decisions as to which scripts to run with, and bring to production, in the autumn. This process will take a few weeks, and we will report back in due course. I, for one, can’t wait to see how people have risen to the challenge…
