INTERVIEW: EDWARD HALL

The artistic director of the all-male Shakespeare ensemble Propeller (and who also now runs Hampstead Theatre) talks to Dominic Cavendish about his approach to Richard III and The Comedy of Errors, the company’s latest touring double-bill.

Comedy of Errors was such hard work because it’s so precise – you have to be so light and quick. The laddish thing only fed the play eventually.
